Why padel ate Bangkok (and why your first session should be a clinic)

When we opened the Racquet Yard, padel was the experiment. Two years later it books out faster than anything else in the club. The reasons are simple: the learning curve is kind, the format is social by design, and forty-five minutes in you're having actual rallies — something tennis makes you wait months for.
The mistake most new players make is starting with open play. Padel looks like tennis but the walls change everything: positioning, patience, and the lob matter more than power. One clinic saves you six months of bad habits.
My advice for your first month: two clinics, one social mix-in, and watch one night-league evening from the café. You'll learn the rhythm of the game faster with a cold drink in hand than you will hitting forehands as hard as possible.
And yes — the bandeja is a lifestyle. You'll understand soon enough.
